PERFORMANCE (58 kb) The Operations Performance page is a series
of three graphs. - Two-Year Revenue Comparison
The first graph is a line graph that compares the company's revenue by month over
a two-year period. Important variances can be easily seen. - Top
Four Year-to-Date Expenses
The second graph is a pie chart displaying
the company's top four actual expense categories as a percent of total expenses.
The client can easily see which expenses are draining the company's resources. - One-Year
Revenue and Expense Comparison
The third graph is a bar chart displaying
actual Revenue and Expense by month for a one- year period. The chart makes it
easy for the client to see which months are profitable and to what level. BALANCE
SHEET (66 kb) The Balance Sheet displays the company's assets,
liabilities and owner's equity at a particular date. INCOME
STATEMENT (63 kb) The Income Statement displays the sales, expenses
and net income (loss) for a particular period of time. STATEMENT
OF CASH FLOWS (61 kb) The Statement of Cash Flows displays the
company's beginning and ending balances of cash, and the sources and uses of cash
for a particular period of time. Cash flows are separated into three categories;
operating, investing and financing activities. BANK
RECONCILIATION (57 kb) The Bank Reconciliation Report displays
the cash balance shown on the company's books at a particular date and reconciles
this balance with the amount shown by the company's bank statement. JOURNAL
ENTRY AND CHECK REGISTER (63 kb) The Journal Entry and Check
Register, displays by date, the company checks that were written during the month
with the associated general ledger accounts they were charged to. DETAIL
GENERAL LEDGER (64 kb) The Detail General Ledger Report displays,
by general ledger account, all activity to the accounts over the current month. PAYROLL
REGISTER (60 kb) The Payroll Register displays alphabetically,
by individual, all employees who were paid during the month. The employees gross
pay with the related payroll taxes and other deductions are shown. INCOME
STATEMENT BY MONTH (63 kb) The company's income statements for
the most current twelve-month period are displayed by month. FINANCIAL
ANALYSIS (60 kb) The Financial Analysis Report compares the company's
most current month balance sheet with the prior month balance sheet. Changes in
the balances of assets, liabilities and owner's equity are shown by type of account. OPERATIONS
ANALYSIS (65 kb) The Operations Analysis Report displays sales,
cost of sales and expense by category. The gross profit dollars and percent of
gross profit are shown for each type of sales category. Each expense category
is shown as a percent of total sales and total gross profit. The information is
displayed for the current month, year-to-date and prior year. BUSINESS
ANALYSIS (71 kb) The Business Analysis Report is a powerful tool
for analyzing the financial performance of a business. Financial information from
the Balance Sheet, Income Statement and Cash Flow Statement are used to calculate
key performance metrics. ANALYSIS
SLIP SHEET (11 kb) A separate page titled, "Things we noticed
this month," can be printed and included with the Elite statements. The page is
in letter format and highlights important financial issues which should be addressed
with you each month. |
